0' 1948. Coldest so far this winter. Typed my corner, about HF [Corps?] bulletins, which K. put on library bulletin board while I gave travel talk on China at Lutheran Ladies' Aid. 1949. Plumbing got clogged at school, so only a few exams + no lunch. At 11 I had Dr. Ackerman dispose of lump on my wrist, + finished ordering food for banquet. Frank Home [illegible] Harry Sugden by 2. Cleaned up after party had. 5° to 50° 1950. Hans put up my new cabinet above sink + wax paper + paper towel holder. I went into [Quislivas?] for second liver shot on 10 o'clock bus-out on 12:05 got Hans A pillow for birthday + nylon yarn for sox for Kathryn. 1951. Slept badly + not too much, so didn't go to church. Hans + I to S.S. He is reviewing pre-Abraham times for adult class. In PM I walked to [Hafstad's?]; she + I planned program for Mother-Daugher banquet. Did lot of phoning 1952. Wettest + warmest 1/14 on record. Rain. 49° at 8 P.M. Washed, hung in basement. Kept Lydia Jean [Gugel?] (2 1/2 mo. old) in PM while Peggy started switchboard training at Med. Gen. Hosp. Homemakers' Club at C. Millers' in eve.
