Hans + I moved 36 sacks insulation to attic. 3 plasterers finally came, after we'd waited 2 weeks or so - +plastered my kitchen + 3 bathrooms. 1949 Roads clear - Lois + John Shofer went to church with me. Frank out at Lemcke's all day. We packed + left som after 4, but our lights burned out + we drove last dozen miles in dark. Leon Mitchell up for confab with Hans. 1950 Washed + baked bread, sewed a little. Slept hour or more to make up for waking at 4:30. (Too much ice cream yesterday). Frank begins night school at vocational bookkeeping. Mother S. began knitting nylon sox for K. 390 1951. Ironed mended. In PM called on Lois Johnson, just beginning to feel better. Mrs. H + I got rid of banquet program. Took K + E. Kromrey to guild in eve. Business session in basement. Musical program upstairs. Sold banquet tickets. Voted $500 to church. 1951.
