January 19

JANUARY 19
1948. Baked bread.  Plasterers did most of upstairs.  At library I began putting in memorial stickers in the Dreger books.  K + I walked to Guild in eve.  Mrs. Kelso showed us "Buttons"
1949.  Had 2 new pupils, Vera + Natalie Immodze with Joyce + Audrey taking both Fr. + Soph. Home Ec.  My total is 54!  Drove downtown after school + took lot of banquet pans + plates home.  Just busy working all eve.
-5 degrees Sunny 1950. Felt fine.  Hans better.  Baked bread, sewed on suit, did needlepoint.  Virgie Anderson called for me to bring Chinese things to Homemakers' Club at Mrs. John Lauferbring's.  Told of ch. banquet.  Ate chop suey.
1951. Hans to office on 8:20 bus.  Much phoning about change of pancake supper date, banquet plans, etc.  Typed my 4 pages of family + personal interests for Woman's Club scrapbook to be sent abroad. (Argentina
1952. Drove Hans out to Branch, got stapler, finished + mailed next week's circulars.  RAINED.  Baked blueberry pie.  Frank + "Skeeter" moved workbench from garage to Univ. Ave. garage.
