JANUARY 21 1948. Aspirin gargles + Vit. C. Check my sore throat + other germs. But I wasn't much good. Managed to do my library stint in P.M. Twice as many as last Wed! 1949. Home at 12:30. Had no classes in PM on acct of big show in gym. So went home, cleaned house + got nap. Hans + I showed pics to his class + [illegible] + kids. They brought food + I made coffee. 12 by the time we got it clean up. 21 degrees 1950. Went to Madison for liver shot on 10 bus, back about 12:45. My blood count now up to 80, so getting over anemia. Baked oatmeal banana cookies. Signe here for supper + work on uniforms - elec. outlets put in for my ironing board + 3 more in basement. 1951. Church begins now at 9:45. I sold several more tickets to Mother-Daughter banquet. Sig out in P.M. Tess Ziegler here a while. I cut more than 100 folders - deckled edge - for banquet programs. We played 500. 1952. Drove down town. Got new fluorescent bulb for hall, new pen point. Drove to Shorewood Pharmacy for nitroglycerin tablets. Hans took 1 at 11, 1 at 3. [Wm. Zierfluh?] here to see him. Ed Kromrey in eve. Hans in SE bedroom.
