1948 Sunny! Washed (mostly for Frank) + hung/line out. Gerald Grosse's 2 painters began on our woodwork. Signe here for lunch after Hans + Kathryn helped her move to 415 N. Park. Carpenters began upstairs floor. 1949 FHA girls got box of cards and began selling them. In eve Mrs. Scott and I drove to Richland Center and had supper with Woman's club + I showed colored Kodachromes and souvenirs . Stuck in snowbank 3/4 hr coming back. 1950 Up at 6. Worked from 8-12 cutting up 1/2 a hog Paul Zeigler brought. Henry Vold cut large cuts + Mother Skott cut up lard. In P.M. I wrapped pieces after sharp freezing rendered 10 lb. lard. SUNNY. Frank left for Ames 10:30 P.M. 1951 -15º Sunny. Walked to bank + P.O. Sewed - on dining table. Order for seeds, glads, callas, to Vaughan's. 1952 Helped Hans with pay checks in P.M. Addressed + mailed 209 Branch circulars. Gland in throat quite painful so steamed it + rested in P.M. Geo. Hofstad + Ellen here in eve. Cloudy - no groundhog shadow.
