FEBRUARY 28 1948. Carpenters put in front door. Elmwood St. - only to get it cracked soon. Working on stairway. Sanders begin. Anna Mae Vold, state library inspector, and father came and rented upper apt Schonefeld's also looked at it. Busy at library PM and eve. 1949 Haus sent pkg. seeds and foods to Denmark. Freshmen [sewing?] their dresses. I demonstrated shrinking wool for [Srs?]. Sold tickets in eve for Jr. play "Mother-in-law". Hans' class late. 1950. We ironed, mended. I finished quilting bed jacket. Exchanged buttonhole in hopes of getting one to work. Made devil's food cake for Hans to take to Father-Son banquet at church. Frank was sick, so Wallie W. went c him. 1951 Slept nearly 9 hrs. Washed 21 dishtowels and 11 holders from last eve. Deone came in P.M. and we figured we made more than $115. To Lenten service in eve. Movie "Who is My Neighbor?" Sleet nearly all day. 1952. Awake 1:30-4:30 or so. Frank here for dinner and early supper. I ironed, cleaned a bit, interchanged May and Frank's desks. To Branch. Ruby S. here on Guild financial business, also Ellen Hafstad.
