March 19 1948. Did large washing, & hung it in our old basement "Apt." Fairy A.M. basement went. Mr. Fauk finally finished installing plumbing. Practice of broadcast at school. 1949. Breakfast for 4. Cleaned Apt., laundered 2 blouses, etc. went downtown twice, tho Haus did banking once. Sewed on my blue flowered piquè all P.M, which I cut out yesterday. 1950.I drove Frank's car to church, with Mother S. Made chicken pie. Adele's came 12:30, here till 4. Frank took Mark to airport. In eve he moved his stuff into his own closet, now his grandma has gone home with Adele. Cold. 1951. Haus drove to Barron, leaving before 7AM. Too cold to wash. 18° at noon. Walked down town. In PM to Kromrey's for exec. comm. plus Nova Williby. Didn't feel well. 1952. Broke nosepiece lloose from specs; Don Atbius cemented it. Got shot from D.S. Duishing, got my social security no. 392-32-8591 got extra copy of death certificate for Civil Service retirement, saw Ken Hoover, Ken Orchard, wrote to Marie (illegible) Put new cover on girls ironing board.
