March 23 1948. Getting better. 4 carpenters back putting asbestos siding shingles on. Mrs. Franklin here at noon to see our blonde woodfinish. Brot in a little stuff from Wittenbrug's in eve. Read 2 books. 1949. Forennon classes sewing. Sophs. Cooked meats- broiled & braised. I showed Chinese things to the grades. Frank came for supper. 1950. Hung out a lineful clothes and had basement lines full, too. Sunny, first this week. In eve, Mrs. Cornwell took us out to Ph. B. school Mother's CLub where we showed Ch. pics & answering. 1951. "Good" Friday, rain in AM turned to sleet, then snow all P.M. I walked downtown in a lull. Didn't go to evening service. Read in "The King's Cavalier." Haus home at 10. Bad roads & snow. 1952. Prepared dinner for 9. Oskais did not come. (blizzard in Iowa). Siq. K & Frank here. Grandma all packed to go. I took Frank to 8:45 greyhound. I went to S.S. 12 in class. Cymoffilt gave fine talk on Maternity in Home.
