MARCH 26 1948. Did a huge washing, hanging part in Offendahl's line as can't put hooks on our completed house. Stoop begun on Bristol St. entrance. K and I went to Good Friday services in eve. 1949. Rainy. Cleaned apt., shopped, sewed up pink skirt, planned for Soph. practical test on dinner unit. Slept from 9-10 AM! Have to rest weekends. 49 degrees 1950. Rain overnight. Snow nearly gone. Walked to church and back except rid with Alice Olson. Nap. Wrote letters. Last to K at [place] till October. Thunderstorm in eve. 1951. Threw washing by 9:20, clothes dried outside. Waffle kept me awake after 3, so - nap in AM and PM. Hans and Signe came out and we all went to Mr. Story's funeral in Gruber's at 2, and burial at Middleton Jet. I walked to Greta M's in eve. 25 degrees 1952. Drove in for first osteopathic treatment of Dr. Lewis Harned. Said my nerves "all tied in knots". Got "Easter Ideals" for Hilda's birthday. Bumped into concrete slab at Shorewood Shopping Center, had to be towed home. Wrote 2 typed pages for MTT. Went to church in eve with Deone. "Guild Triple Trio" sang. Peggy Man in Smith [illegible]
