MARCH 30 1948. Had good sleep, so got a little work done, but nap in P.M. In eve Hans and I were guests of I.S.C. Alumni group at $1.25 dinner at Kennedy Manor then showed pies and souvenirs to appreciative group. 1949 Assembly of girls in my room at 12:30 because someone had written in toilet room. Saw "The Silk Route" movie. Cut out jacket of blue suit. Read in "Jalua" in eve. Cold in our room - like Shanghai! 1950. Up at 6 as usual! Made my fourth choir robe. Big box of cards came. I checked them - have to keep records exact. Called on Mrs. Stanley Showers. Fee. Mrs. Carl Haak there. Got and wrote 7 letter 1951 Hans at Madison office. I baked bread. Got waxer from Scott's. K. waxed bedroom floors. I washed baseboards, etc. 1952. Eyes tired from watching Bill Clark's bell-fight and other colored movies of Mexico. I slept 4 hrs. without a drug! Walked to S.S. 10 in our class. Ed K helped much on discussion on education. Rode home with Deone after church. Sig came at 2. Marian came for her at 8. Wrote 11 cards and letters. Frank phoned from Des M!
