MARCH 31 1948 Busy P.M. at library. 1949. A little snow in P.M. Freshmen saw "Man Who Was late to breakfast". Sophs. beginning unit on childcare. Sent organdy apron to Hilda for birthday. 1950. Didn't sleep as usual so slept till 7:30. To P.O. To Madison, 10 - 4:40. Lunch with Kae. 5 wks. old Robt. slept. Bought purse, etc. Drizzled. Hans home at 7. 1951 Baked cookies and shortcake. K waxed hallway. In eve she showed her India slides at Careers Conference at Wesley. Went with Hands to chili supper, but didn't eat. 1952 Rain in night melted more snow. Slept miserably - no Frank - no car! (Went to Rockford from Des M). K came out in Frank's Model A and took me to Dr. Harned's - a little late - nerves in bad state. Walked to Branch in PM, worked 3 hrs. Tired. K here for supper.
