APRIL 16 1948 Waxed kitchen linoleums up and down stairs, puttied Vold's kitchen quarterrounds. We put on push plates on dining room doors. Hans put another shelf in sewing room cabinet. I waxed stairs. [first name] [last name] and helper making steps. 1949. Sunny. [Linnbago?] really bothered, so I did little. Pressed my new suit. Walked downtown. Hans home about 2 PM from Muscoda. Drizzle in eve. 66 degrees. 1950. A bit tired. We walked to Hafstad's then rode to church with them. Church so full seats in side aisles. Hafstads, Westedts and 14 more joined church. 111 at S.S., more than on Easter. I taught Mrs. Heebink's class. We spent eve at Hafstad's. 1951. Baked 4 doz. butterham rolls for W. Club Board dinner and pinwheel cookies for tomorrow's tea. Went to church at 5, put flags for upstairs decor. 2" Dist. W.C. Board dinner served nicely by Guild, chm. Mrs. Williby, Avis in PM. 1952 Slept 12 to 8:45 with break of hr or so. Took treatment of Dr. Harned. Finally got 3 insurance policies sent, registered letters. K and I called on Carol Utter in her new house, 1816 Hubbard. Finally K got hot bed planted.
