MAY 2
1948. 7 girls and 6 boys, many from K's S.S. class went in to church membership. Taught Mrs. Cornwell's class again. Wrote 7. Read in "Mary Donovan"
1949 Nice day. Nap after school! Saw Senior play in eve "The Curse of an Aching Heart" - Western melodrama.
1950. Sunny forenoon. Ironed, mended, planted more peas. Cut out apron, blue and white print. To Woman's Club at H.S. As sec. for next yr, was named delegate to state and dist. mtgs. Mrs. [name] new member. Xenia [Sophoroweki?] talked of Poland. Mr. Meyer showed us thru new uncompleted bldg.
1951 Up at 4:30, put out ashes and junk, with K's help. Wrote pages (by hand) for MTT. and 7. Scrubbed screws for Gugel's rooms, etc. Removed storm door and 3 other windows, put on screens.
90 degrees 1952 Up at 5. Took church nursery list to Jane Boyer for chm. for May. Sent for OPS report blanks for April. Got paint from Mrs. McChesney, and bought primer, painted in garage on windowframes 2 hr. Got Frank's bees, which he put out in eve. I made up 20# sugar into syrup for them.
