Our yard a litter of branches from last nite's windstorm. 1951 K to Dan Hallock's for day. Frank, Dale K and "Hank" of Vt. here for breakfast. Frank here for chicken dinner. After nap, Hans and I to Weidemann's and stayed for supper. 1952. Temp. dropped to normal for first in 10 days. Made pinwheel cookies, made out OPS report, picked violets, helped Mmes. Williby, Gruber, and Utter serve at club after 3 films shown by Mr. Kromrey. Frank drove my car to Rockford [College?].
