JUNE 8 1948 Washed, didn't all get dry. In eve we replanted sweet corn. K transplanted kohlrabi. Cold. 1949. In AM went to Lillian Storms' then she went c me to where Mary Storms used to live. At 1 Alice Leavens went out past bridge c us to photograph water lilies. Saw Jeanette and at her sister's. Tried to find Mary Storms at her sister's, but they were at hospital. 1950. Finished blue organdy dress and faced voile dress. Kathryn hemming both. Packed. Planted glads. Transplanted 12 calendula. Hans home in eve from Black River Falls. 1951 Hans to office. I wrote 7, baked cookies, drove downtown, shampooed hair, etc. New exec. comm. of Guild here in eve. Deone, Esther Kal, Verna V, Ruby S. 1952 Slept 10 to 6. Children's Day so did not go to church. Washed my bedroom windows, hung Sig's old rayon glass curtains. Shampooed my hair. Sig and I painted last 3 window frames, put in seed and plants at cemetery and saw Mrs. O'Bridges' flowers. K and I saw "Aaron Slick" and "The Lion and the Horse".
