Saving...
June 29 1948 Did huge washing, barely getting it in ahead of more rain. Frank still home. Ironed some. Finished "Jefferson's Daughter". Expected Constance, but card came telling she can't come. 1949 Anna May and I got Kathryn on 12:10 AM train 1/2 hr. late. Home 1:30. Cleaned Shofer's (name?) room, ironed curtains, took a lot of Frank's things out of closet. Bought tickets to N. York. Doris and Jim here in eve. Then to Sig's to get her Power of attorney notorized. Very tired. 1950 Chilly. Wore flannel suit. While Hans audited PMA books, I mended hose, went to library. After lunch we drove to Carl Waldson's. Jim Johnson, wife and Jimmy from Calif. came also. There for supper and overnight. Gladys showed a lot of Kodachromes. 1951 Baked 3 loves bread and pan rolls, and oatmeal cookies. Walked downtown, took nap. Deone R. here at noon on errands. Sat in sun in AM a while. Hans brought another crate strawberries. 1952 Too foggy out to exert myself. Baked 1/2 batch oatmeal cookies. Sig here 9:30 till I took her in about 4. K and I went to church picnic at Spring Harbor. I called on Frank and Iva Bliss. Finished N. Shute's "(illegible)".
