1948 Cleaned up apt. Kr. Kromrey brought Rev. and Mrs. Weirwill to look it over. K and I sewed. I on blue jersey and finished blouse. Checked out 95 books at library. Hans home in time for supper.

1949 Up early for once. Went to church (state supported) in Sommerste with the school master and wife and Aunt K. Hans went (paacykle?). Saw family graves afterward. Peter cykled for Voyers. We had "coffee" at Asmus Petersen's, took picture, also called at Smedens. Ate 6 times today!

1950 Washed Frank's clothes along with ours. Froze 2 lb. beans for Vold's, 2 pkg rhubarb, and canned 3 pt. rhubarb. Helped Hans mend our big canvas.

1951 Cleaned up living room, rearranged furn. K. helped some. Baked cookies - tho do not fell well at all. In eve had 12 in for ch. pics - I narrated, Hans run pics, K and Edith K. served cookies and Rube - (ad?).

1952 Painted 10 windows, froze 5 pkg str. beans, mostly from Univ. Ave lot. At Branch 1-1/2 hrs., but TOO HOT - as they were rendering lard. At Williamsons' 1-2, on nominating comm. garden club. Hauled 7 bundles asbestos shingles from (?lr) Co. "Mac" here.
