July 31 1948 Frank and I rode in with Dr. Thielke, taxi to hospital, bus to Dr. W. Nesbit. Frank has bad "strep" throat. I bought 2 dresses, rode out with Kenyon's. K. baked bread, I cake. She waxed main floor and did library. Rev Wierwill came at 6. 1949 Cloudy, so no pics. Rain in PM. We took train from Ribe to Esbjerg. Went to Methodist church at 10. Greeted by congregation!. Invited to dinner by Proest and Lylland. Snak met Jeus Jorgensen and (illegible) - maybe we will ride with them to Germany. Train to Vejen, bus to Lerte where family met us. Anna and Christine also on bus. 1950 Stamped 14 dishtowels. In eve Mr. and Mrs. Murray here. We showed a very few Chinese pictures. She gave me needlepoint canvas. 1951 Baked honeycake. Left 9:30 with Mmes. Raemisch, Schwenn and Allen for 1 o'clock luncheon with Mrs. Feehoff at Waukesha. 609 E Broadway. Saw pics of her trip W. Mrs. Hang gave 2 readings.Records of Ruth F's compositions. Faced sun home on 30 (7:00) 1952 Slept well - mended, shopped, wrapped and sent Indian basket and doll to Denmark, worked on OPS record. Ironed. Sig and Marian came, planned their dish cupboard, helped me pick beans. I froze 2 qt. and 4 pt.
