Were both seasick. 1950 Awake 3 -5, slept till 7:20. My "nice quiet day" didn't turn out so. Canned 1 1/2 qt. tomatoes. Frank brought 2 pals - lunch for them at 11, waffle supper. Made mandarin collar for Chinese blouse. Got lovely white gloves Aunt K. knit. 1951 Took Hans to work, went to garden for tomatoes, carrots. Canned 8 qt. tomatoes. All 3 kids here for dinner. They took K to 12:30 bus. I gave her lovely knitted beret in 4 colors Aunt K made.
