OCTOBER 22 1948. 2 classes with notebooks due handed them in only % on time. Helped FHA girls sell pop at Hillsboro football game. Rather enjoy these outdoor affairs. Hans not well - made only 1 farm visit. 1949. Herman left for home about 8:30. gabbed most of day with Dora. Baked layer cake, made jello. Dora went to Kay's on 5.55 bus. More cleaning up. Cooler. 1950. Frank up + out. I walked to church + S.S. Put in birthday money. Rode home with La Rock's. Lunch alone. Walked to church, 1:30, rode with Wierwill's in church caravan, to Lutheran on Speedway also Calvary Gospel (basement) then cottage grove (Presby) 1951. Sunny AM so washed. Did some ironing + mending. Sold FF at W. Bauman's + EA Liedeman's. Froze pkg. of sw. chard. 1952. Breakfast for Frank who had his G.I. class last eve in Econ. Geog. at Univ. Then back to Beloit with nap at 7. I worked 2 hrs. at Branch. had car doors tightened, shellacked + varnished baseboards. Mrs. Louise Summers here for cards.
