NOVEMBER 8
1948 School on new schedule for basketball - I have to listen to it all PM overhead. Written lesson for freshmen - first book reports filter in. Awake 2:30 to 5 so felt not too good. To library in eve for 4 B.S. Aldrich books.
1949 Hans took Anna May to N.W. train. He has offer of job in Wisc. AAA. I washed, ironed curtains, washed Westdts windows on outside and their storm windows, which Hans put on. Mailed letters at 10 P.M.
1950 Rainy. Before it began, I walked to Phelp's and to see Mrs. Malcolm. I cut out 2 4 yr. size cotton dresses for bazaar, and sewed.
1951 Begins to warm up for first this mo. Walked with Mrs. Laufenberg to Homemakers' Center for textile painting lesson. To Garden Club in eve at Thielke's.
1952. After 8 hrs. unbroken sleep, I really felt fit. Did some cleaning, washed 4 storms for Ella's rooms, also washed her windows, inside and out, and put her screens in attic. At Branch in PM, then Les H came and we worked here an hour and more. Finished Oct. journal.
