NOVEMBER 13 1948. Enough after 9 to be late at dish FHA at Lancaster. I left Muscoda HS with Marie Olsen Carol Muller + Jeanette Tracy (who were in style show) + Ruth Paspichal. Shopped a little. Home at 4. John back from Madison. He + I drove to W. Lib. 52[degrees] 1949 Didn't sleep from 2-4:30 or so, then till 7:40. Made 2 apple pies for Men's dinner at Community church, but missed church getting them baked. Sig + I ate ham dinner the men's club put on at church, then went thru new Hi School annex. Callers, Mrs. Mealey, the Rentz', Deone 1950 Washed - K hung out. Hans to Chilton in PM with Sig to Manitowoc. Clothes dried well. We sent 22# box to Marie R, but I had to untie it to reduce weight. Hemmed 4yr. gingham dress... 1951. To Pat Kenyon's in eve - got cookbook. Began packing overseas boxes. Got plastic panties + bib for new baby boy in Denmark. + scarlet corduroy slacks for "lille Clara". Hans had headache 1952 Probably the cranberry relish wasn't good for me; only slept fair. Locked myself out of house when I went to mailbox at 7:30. Crawled in bedroom window! Took Edith K. + triple-crowned of. violet to garden club at village hall to hear Mrs. of Oconomowoc.
