NOVEMBER 16 1948. Felt much better. Gave freshmen lesson on table setting, also salad they made. Rainy. 1949. Gray day, but I washed, using new basket on a frame: "sav-ur-bak". Sorted pics. Finished crocheting 1 side blue + white pad. Ironed on new built in ironing board. 1950. Up at 5. K washed kitchen walls and I cleaned out cabinets + worked linoleum, etc. Took trav. basket to J. Walters', cards to Westphal's. Mrs. Murray came for cards. K + I to hear Bishop Northcott + see pics he took in Africa 1951 I arranged winter bouquet with fresh bittersweet, put on clean slip cover on davenport, cleaned apartment. swept inch of snow from walks. Tired. Froze 4 chickens in eve. 1952. To S.S. + church - Rev Walter Smith of Rio preached (he's too old for Mdltn). Fighting off cold + sore throat with 10 doses of ascorbic acid. Napped. Phone call from Constance, in Stoughton, at Patty + Ed. Arranged Kodachromes for Guild.
