NOVEMBER 30 1948. Finished typing copy of my script for K and wrote her a letter in eve. 1949. Frank left for Harlan at 8:20, on bus. Finished hemming 10 dishtowels for bazaar. Made strawberry shortcake for dinner. Went with Mrs. Hallis Hunt to Trinity Lutheran church, where I talked on Home Life as I saw it in N. Europe to 100 members of L.A. Uncle Chris came as I left. 19 degrees 19 Sunny. Finished dress, big paisley apron, and made most of smock. Drove downtown. Frank hadn't enough to pay his hi-way regulations, so spent night in Madison jail. 1951. Baked 4 loves brown bread and rolls, 65 oatmeal cookies for bazaar, took 2 plants, candy, greeting cards, etc. to bazaar. Took Mrs. Murray. There 1:30 to 4:30, Anna May and I 6:30-8. Worked in miscellaneous booth. We made Should be December 1. Dr Weston out again. 1952 Up at 7. Got my big peperonia plant cleaned up and took it to church. Paul Steffensen preached again. Wrote letters, went to Sig's. We fixed place and hung their screens in garage for winter. Tea with Degn's and Axel Petersen's. Took Mr. Turk's shoes out to Peggy's. Frank not well - he overate last eve. Wrote several Chr. cards for Germany and Siam.
