DECEMBER 20 1948. "Rested" - laundered ruffled curtains from bedroom and living room, made cookies. Hans to Madison, then to Muscoda. K and I spent the eve on a big stack of our "circulars" 1949 Ironed - grandma did the mending. Sheets wet, handful of Christmas cards. So busy writing Christmas notes I forgot to go to Guild! Mr. Vold helped me put up evergreen door decoration. 1950 Awake at 4 for 2 hrs. then slept till 8:30! Paid dearly for eating at Guild by being sick all day. Put up door wreaths, and figured Guild moneys since Treas. Ruth P. was not at Guild. 1951 Ironed - in 2 shifts, then 2 naps! Got Ronald Raemisch and power plow to clean driveway. Stanley Brening to shovel 5" snow off walks. Still writing cards, 60+ to Guild members. 1952 Rain! Making a slushy mess. Anna May and I downtown, met Mr. Deyn, Axel Petersen and Kirsten and Ann. Worked at Branch all P.M. Wrote cards all eve. Can see my way thru now!
