February 21 1917. Cleaned up the upstairs. Took mamma to train to go to see George. Worked on my rug. 1918. Raw day again. We three worked all day again, and Constance and Cogswell's helped at the last to get my 3 dray loads off. Settled up. Sold Daisy to Mr. Nelson and Mike to Sven. At C-'s for dinner and supper, and they went with me to train. Constance stayed till train. 1919. Opened nightgown Hazel gave me ('15) down the front. August here for dinner. Got circle letter - Jo back in Mont. to live. Wrote in it and to Hazel. Made third flannel "Gertrude" and crocheted 5 medallions for bottom of it. Letter from mamma at Sweetland Institute. 1920. Letter from Hans' aunt Martha Ehlers. Wrote to his grandmother. Crocheted. Joy around and weather gray and raw, so I haven't been outdoors for quite a while. Sewed up tick mamma gave me for 3/4 bed. 1921. Got cold in right breast again and felt so bad I had Hazel help me an hour when she came with mail. Letter from Anna Wilson. Signe didn't sleep till ten.
