February 22
1917. Washed some of the dirtiest windows I ever did- due to storm two weeks ago. We did a big washing.
1918. Left Bogley - maybe forever- at 2:00 A.M. Waited at Bemidgi till 9:40 when I went to SooLine 160A to McGregor. August took me in sleigh to see our farm he is going to build up. Left at 4:20 for Duluth on N.P. Got on sleeper at 9:00 and never woke at all when train started. 
1919. Cleaned up house, baked jam cake. Crocheted 2 more medallions; made little pillowcases with hem- stitched hem and insertion and edging I finished crocheting. Hans and Mr. Hart took muddy ride to Garfield for evening meeting. Margaret and I walked out past observatory. Mrs. Rees called. 
1920. Got dinner while the rest except Lesli went to church. A quiet Sunday as usual. Hilda plays lots on the floor with various blocks, etc. She jabbers quite a bit in language of her own. 
1921. Felt practically all right, but stayed in house as it was snowy and windy. baked a cocoa never-fail cake. Got around the usual housework nicely and took an hour's rest. Wrote to mamma. Washed flannels.
