DECEMBER 23 1917. Heavy snow in P.M. I wrote to Mabel C., Margaret F., Mrs. Leffler, and Emily H. We called on Anderson's. he is just out of Bemidgi hospital. Got circle letter and cards. "The American" from Herman. Saw Andy Peterson on skis behind a Ford. 1918. Baked a big batch of bread - but not till evening. Wrote to Constance, Cousin Emma, Chas. Mailed box home and to Anna. Sent "M" cards to Aunt Minnie. Helena and I fixed up boxes of candy, etc. for Wilson's for her, for telephone girls here, and for Edna P. We made popcorn balls and more pinoche and seafoam. I dressed our chicken. 1919. Hilda slept pretty well. I fixed up a box for her to play in instead of her cab, and washed for her. Wrote to her great grandmother Elisatt and to Hans' folks and the circle letter. Thick frost on trees and everything outdoors. Got letter from Hans and card from Emily H. 1920. Did last washing. Finished writing Christmas cards, also letters to Uncle John and Minnie, and Millie, and Anna Wilson, and sent them and packages. Got pkg of baby woolens from Sis + apron for Hilda, cards from Hazel S. Herman's, Muriel E, Snyder's, Roy Smith's 19
