JANUARY 8 1936. Snowed hard all P.M. Mrs. Clarence Sefzik and I served macaroni & tomatoes to 46 children at school. Rather tired me. Crocheted on blue sweater, now daily pick-up work. 1937. Sleety rain all night & day. Did a little wool [illegible] on K's dress. Baked a mince pie. Nearly finished work on last year's account book. 1938. Coldest this winter -8°. Frank took guitar lesson but wants to quit. Hilda and Kathryn helped sweep Trousdale church, with Epworth Leaguers -- Mrs. Brandt went in with us. I cut out Kathryn's plaid dress. 1939 Girls to S.S. & church. I didn't feel good. tho went for ride with Hans in P.M Finished reading "The Citadel" & more in "My America" 52° 19
