JANUARY 19 5°. 40 at church, 52 at SS.! I took Mr. Reeder's place as Supt. Wrote 7. Kathryn led Epworth League for first time. Hans left for rest of week. I did the ironing; had to have car pushed twice downtown to get on paving! Wrote 7. Hans got $25. from Miss Clark. Girls at B.B. Peosta won. Played carrom with 3 boys. Went with children to town, got books to review from Miss Shraga at Trav. Library; got a bridge re-set; went to WHA & talked with Mrs. Hazard about my broadcast to be March 31. Home at noon. Took Signe for photograph in P.M. to accompany her essay. Sunny. Baked layer cake for Mothers' Club meeting at Pheasant Branch at Mrs. Schneider's Played 500. Worked on committee. Mrs. Zentner & Dale here in eve, with one-act play.
