JANUARY 27 Wrote "Farm Women's Radio Station" column, then cut out two black slips and made most of mine. Frost 1/3 inch thick on windows. Napped. Felt better. Warm enough to melt a very little ice from paving. Farm Bureau lesson at Geo. Hamilton's. -5°. Sunny. Sewed, did some wall cleaning. Letters from Aunt Emma, Hans. Wrote Aunt Emma, Herman start getting material for Steen family history. In with girls, got Frank plaid shirt, took treatment of Dr. Quisling, took Signe home at 10 after her registration. At 2:30 got Lois Fear, K, & Frank from high school & with Mrs. Zentner we put on our "Weinies for breakfast" play at 4 at Turner Hall. Mrs. Z. went in with us to see other 4 plays.
