JANUARY 31 Ironed. Walked down town in P.M. Wrote up Mrs. Halbert & a creamery mtg. for C.R. Gazette (Hans at " mtgs. nearly every day this week). Hilda home in P.M. 35°. Rained nearly all day. Washed. Girls mopped, baked cookies. Hans home from week's work at 7 -- (should be 30th) -10°. Sunny & up to 10°. Took girls in, came home & ironed, scrubbed pantry floor. Took Grace to Farm and Home Week program in Ag. Auditorium, a panel discussion. 10°. Sunny. Signe took Hilda in & has no univ. work rest of week. I washed in less than 2 hrs, inc. 2 old [illegible] blankets. Fine program in P.M. Farm & Home -- John Curry, Nellie K Jones, Dr. Sevinghaus. At [Procknom's?] in eve a bit
