FEBRUARY 1 -7° 1936. Baked bread. Made Signe's black slip. Did mending. Hans went from Center Jct. mtg. to his folks. 1937. Typed poultry copy, did mending. Hans & I & Frank at Lyle Miller's in eve. Played "Monopoly" till I went broke. 19 -2, 15° at noon. Took children in, baked bread, cake, & beans, went to McFarland then to F. & H. program in Chem. Auditorium. So icy Grace & I turned clear around on Lake Shore Drive. 1939. Snowy & blowing cold in AM -- sleety rain at noon. then cleared. Took Hilda in then attended talks on elec. equipment & an elec. safety movie in Ag. Eng. Took Mrs. Zentner in after dinner as she is on program Ralph Bridgman. Miss Marlott. then to tea in exec. mansion -- met Mrs. Hill & others 19
