FEBRUARY 25 1936. Hung washing outdoors for 1st time this year. Baked gingerbread. Last no. of lecture course - Dr. Rowley on "Christian Home". Hans' tooth hurt. 1937 [Got?] out two rugs - worked on crocheted silk hoserug. Backache till midforenoon. 1938. Sunny. Wrote Jennie May Well, Dora Got 7 letter. Started braided chair pad of uncut silk stockings. 1939. All girls in Madison for A.M. I baked bread and sponge cake and beans. Began reading "The Way of All Flesh" by Samuel Butler. 19
