FEBRAURY 27 1936. Went to Dubuque with Hans - 1st time to shop this yr. Cheese dem. by Ruth Cessna and dinner by Chamber of Commerce for milk producers. Visited with Frances George [Yould?] 1937. Up at 7. Washing done by 10:15. Bill Byer's moved to Epworth and Ande's to our farm. Light snow most of day - Brakes frozen from week ago, so couldn't go to Dubuque - Got 7. Olga has baby girl. 1938. Sunny and warmer than ever. Wore new spring hat. Taught S.S. class again. 12 in it. Reading "20 Years in Hull House" Wrote 7, Hans Hilda led E.L. 1939. K and F home with tendency to flu. Sunny. Hemmed by hand. Wrote Mrs Bruce Kirkpatrick and Hans
