MARCH 2 1936. Wrote "Country Sue's FWRS" Mild sunny weather 1937 Too warm for usual whipped cream to freeze outside - much. Mrs. Hartbecke here to help plan for Irmscher Aux. mtg. Tore up some rug rags. 1938 Sore throat again! Made new top on K's worn slip. Baked date-nut cookies, which with pineapple cheese I made, I served at Missionary Soc. at Barber's. I poured from her lovely silver tea pot. 17 there. Rainy morning, colder in eve. 1939. In bed all day. Hilda got me medicine at Quisling's + I didn't run much temperature. Reviewed 2 home furnishing books for my broadcast the 21st. 19
