MARCH 7 Warmer. Rheumatism in arms bothered in mopping. Finished K's skirt. Drove part way to Pauline's, walked between 10 ft. drifts. Called at Reeder's. Took F's shoes to Eldon W. Much water soaked away. 4 in my S.S. class. Read in "Gone With the Wind" all P.M. + eve. till eyes were tired. Did lot of odd jobs, sewed on 4 comfort protectors, mended, etc. Hans came home at 5 from Minn., Buckhorn, Epworth, bringing Pauline Waechter. Hans off to Menard Co., lll. Baked bread + gingerbread, made yeast, crocheted second border in blue rug. Typed some Mother-daughter songs.
