MARCH 12 1936. Snowed + blew all day. Canned 1 qt. chicken + 3 pt. liver wurst, cut up bread. Cut out blouse for Kathryn + began cutting pieces for an "Epworth" fan quilt. 1937. Baked crackers + cream cake. Have more than half enough "fans" made for quilt. Frank + Kathryn in operetta "Lady Frances" 1938 Went to clinic for my medicine then took Pauline for a drive around the university. Both of us felt bum + took nap in P.M. Almost like spring. Girls washed + ironed. 1939 Did nothing but get a bite of dinner. S, K, + Frank walked to Middleton S.S. + brot car back. I read in "Oil for the Lamps of China" by Alice Hobart Tisdale. 19
