MARCH 14 1936. Finished Kathryn's green tweed blouse while she baked cookies. Basted valances on new d.r. curtains + re-hemmed old ones for Hilda's room. 1937. Baked layer cakes + honey nut bread, made pineapple Bavarian cream. 4 in S.S. board mtg. Missed practice for WHMS play. Miss Aichiem, Burnett + Mrs. Miller here in P.M. to begin Book Club. Mr. + Mrs. W.B. Miller + Nora here for supper. 1938. Pauline + I found Bankenhagen's in bed at nearly 10! Got eggs of Mrs. Gunderson. Showed Fashion Frocks to Mrs. Voges in P.M. also Mrs. Bryant there. We went to Olrecht's in eve. Florence + Frances gave her $10 order. Frank + Hilda sick at stomach. 1939. Up to 50°. I did washing and hung a few pieces outdoors - very unwise as it turned out. Mopped made cake 19
