March 20 1936. At home all day—1st time this week. Canned 4 qt. ham. Spring-like. 1937. Girls did most of washing, hung clothes in attic. Nearly completed blocks for Epworth quilt. Began Halliburton's "Glorious Adventure". 1938. S.S. & Church. To Oregon in P.M. & looked all over fine 14 acre fruit farm for sale. Fred Campbell's. Met Elsie Steen at Bus Station at 5. Mrs. Voges here little while. 1939. Stayed in bed till 3. Hans cleaned out sink. Hilda lost car keys & they got Rev. Weideman to bring them home! 19
