March 25 Pressed suit, shrunk 4 1/2 yds. "desert rash", Kathryn pressing it. Finished mending. Sunny A.M. Baked cake & bread Wrote Miss Clark & sent back her Oriental letters. Church in eve to hear Dr. Temple of Grandview Ave. church Dubuque. Shower in morning while Elsie and I walked to Park store for yeast—which they didn't have! Baked date cookies, made ice cream, mended, wrote Hans, Pauline, Esther Blondahl & [Speiley?] Hilda worked all week for first time. I baked rolls, made gr. crax roll etc Hans home at noon from Fond du Lac. We went to 3 plays at Bascom Hall by Wis Dramatic Guild—"Half Way Home" from Monroe. Swiss & others from Wns. Bay & Janesville.
