April 20 9 Took down washing as fast as it dried for fear of rain - which didn't come. At Lasher's in P.M. 9 Busy catching up - baking bread, canned 4 1/2 qt. ham. 9 Sunny. Kathryn and I took two loads in car and trailer to Middleton. Baked bread. Made jelly. Hilda met Signe on 7 PM bus. Wrote two insurance letters. [Tired?] Bought sun room curtains + rug of Mrs. Miller. 9 Went to Madison with Hilda, shopped mostly at Hill's. Sprinkled, some sun in P.M. Went to Middleton bank, then to Mother's club at Ph. B. 7 tables at 500. Was named delegate to Dane Co. Rural Federation of Clubs Sat. 9
