April 29 1936. Thru washing by 10:30, in soft water again. Mopped. Rested. P.T.A. pot luck supper at 6:30. 16 there. For lack of somebody else, I was elected Pres. for the next school year. 1937. Thoroly all in. Back ache & stiff. Managed to mend hose. Hans home from week up north. 1938 Janet Ande born. Hilda had no school so we took trailer load over. Had to wait an hr. till Miller's moving van got out. Hilda took another load after school, leaving Signe & Frank there. Hans came home in P.M. after I took old rugs to McFarland & shipped to Olson Rug Co. At [illegible] 1939. Baked bread, red devil's food & prune kolatches. Phoned Hans in eve at Hillsboro N.D. & found him all right. (Apr 30) Taught S.S. class at Middleton -> 19
