June 1 19 Washed, but rained all forenoon & again in eve & all night after clothes dried. Cut out and started my gray dress. Made Garden Club poster. Wrote Dora. 19 Wrote Allen, Helene, & Zelma [Zentinire?]. Signe took over summer laundry job, Girls got their 100 baby roosters, & [were?] busy in garden. K does milking & separating, Signe making blue flowered dress. I mended, canned asparagus. 19 We took girls to school, shopped a little, waited while he had tire mended. Opened checking acct at [illegible]. Left East Hiat 2:20 for Buckhorn. Had flat tire, rain, almost stuck in mud on new road near Preston. [Late?] at Velma's wedding to Paul Teeple. Hilda maid of honor—wore '37 banquet dress! I wrote up, mailed to 2 [papers?] at way home. Adele there from Eau Claire. 19 Hot A.M. Frank & I put in salsify, Brussels sprouts, Baked cake. Was on picnic committee at Pheasant Branch. Big crowd. Showers. Kathryn graduated 4th in class of 33. Gave Mrs. Zentner our extra ticket. Dr. [Beery?] of Whitewater talked. 19
