June 6 1936. Baked bread & pie, mopped. Got strawberries from Pauline & made 3 1/2 pt. preserves. Kathryn went with Hans to her grandpa's. Took iris to Lillian Maxwell's. 1937. Baked cake. Frank came to church after Hans phoned from Dubuque at 11. I left my nice class of 8 girls & went in for him. We napped in P.M. Took girls to Farley in eve for Epworth League there & supper. Called at Al. Koster's 19 Took girls in to school, got Ronald a graduation gift; K hung clothes as I washed. Took Mrs. Roberts to Home Ec. Club to hear Frank Lloyd Wright. Rained as we went home. 1939. Big ironing. I washed sun room windows and re-hung curtains. K baked cookies. Went to annual Woman's Club picnic at John Voss' Drove new car and took Mrs. McKenzier. Got new club yearbooks. Am on library comm. Impromptu talk on Guest day at Madison Women's Club. 19
