June 13 9 Hilda, Hans & I, Paul & [Herbert?] [Pownall?] left here at 5:30—Ames 10:20. We went '16 class reunion luncheon & Alumni banquet. Visited afterward with Riley's. At Dora's over night. 9 Church. 8 in my S.S. class. Hilda home at 2—Hans took her from Eau Claire to Winona then on Zephyr to E. Dubuque. Jay came in eve to bring Eugene Pownall. 9 K. helped with big washing. Hans & Hilda took his mother home right after noon lunch. She has vacation this week. I napped, mended. Mr. Smith made back door all. Frank & I put in about 2 rows of potatoes. 9 Built laundry fire at 5. Thru washing at 10:15 Cut out navy print "miracle cotton" dress for Signe. Let out Kathryn's graduation dress which shrank, Mrs. Procknow & girls here in eve for tennis & "Lexington Rummy". Signe took last exam. 9
