JULY 18
1936 Baked bread, cake and cookies, mopped, washed 2 dresses, etc. Went to Pauline's for hemstitching on Hilda's dress.

1937 To Christian Science church - my first and I hope last time. Helen sang solo. After dinner watched speed boat races on Miss. R. and saw hydroplane take off. Fished on Lake Koronis. I caught only good sized fish. Supper at [Knappe's?].

1938 Picked 4 qt. berries then Signe and I were thru washing by 9:45. Made 8 pt. red raspberry jam. Shortened a dress. Two naps in P.M. finally dispelled my headache - Wrote Hans and Dora. Cards from Hans, Hilda! Dora and Kathryn 1st in 2 wks. 

1939 Wrote Hans and Pauline. Card from Barber's. Letter from Hilda. Was pushed to hill, then Mrs. MacKenzie and I went to Madison. Had car fixed. We sat in assembly an hr, then listened to Gov. Heil. [Shopped?], phoned Sig, called on Mrs. Parker in her garden and Mr. [Wassink?] in [hosp?].
