AUGUST 5 1936 Eileen had to see a show in Dubuque so no practise. We signed papers for place at Madison. 1937. Went to Dubuque with Hans, then he went on to Menominie, Wis. I got new dress and shoes and wedding gift for B. Home on 2 o'clock bus. Frank home at 4:30 after month at Olga's, etc. 1938. Baked bread. Picked last qt. of [illegible]. In Middleton a few minutes. Hans came after month in Minn. Condensed pimento cheese story for W.F. 1939. Hans came home from 6 weeks in Minn. at 5 AM. Baked bread and cake, repaired blue dress for Sig, did some cleaning. "Snow" sold. Went to Haley's in eve to see Sig. 19
