SEPTEMBER 20 1936. Slept 9 hours for once. Church and S.S. Vivian Allen went with me. Wrote Helen and Flo. 1937. Slept 9 hours for once. Walked to Edwards Park store for first time. Canned 2 qt. Greenings and 1-1/2 orange-tomato conserve. Let down K's pink dress. 1938. Mailed letter to Jennie Maxwell, card to Elsie. Sun shone out as I hung clothes. Signe came home as I finished. Prepared vegetables for sandwich spread. 1939. Ironed 2 hr. mended. Tired. Napped. Waited an hr. for mail carrier to get Hans' address - Vinton this wk. He phoned in eve.
