NOVEMBER 1 1936. We all went to Hans' mother's for her birthday dinner. Olga's there. Very foggy, some rain on way home. Wrote (7) letter. 1937. Too damp to wash. Cut out my navy blue synthetic crepe. Made Hilda's pajama top. Mrs. Finkelson called. 1938. Up to 75°. Shower in night. Ironing included 5 pairs curtains. Mended. Sold green range for $9. Letter from Hans. To official board mtg. at Trousdale in eve. 1939. Partly clear! Ethel Woody Tool called in P.M. Ruth taught me several trees, sassafras, mimosa, persimmon, also callicarpia purpura. She took snaps of us. 19
